Dreams, Dreams go away

ever spent time wondering how life would be a few years from now? setting targets for yourself? expected a certain minimal amount of development from yourself? ever wondered how things would change with a new locale? a new place to adapt to? new people to know and waste time with? ever had DREAMS?

how many have actually materialized?

normally, such things wouldnt really come into your basic thought process. normally. but while trying to clean your room, if you come across some long forgotten relic of your past, it makes you stop and think for a while. as you go through the worn out pages, you feel like you barely know the guy writing it. the style of writing is too different. the pages are scribbled in a handwriting you could swear are not your own. the cliches arent as badly used and abused as they are now. the ambitions are nowhere near what they are now. the mentality is alien. the whole thought process just doesnt ... feel right.

when you come across a diary you kept at some time in your distant past, some people say the memories come flooding back. they claim to want to relive those days again. not me, hell no. never did cling to the past. no memories come flooding back. just bitter disapointment.

PS : the last of the exams for this sem are over, two years up. almost halfway through.
